Eudunda Hospital Garden Looks A Picture
The Eudunda Hospital gardens have had a landscaping ‘make-over’ on the 26th and 27th August enjoyed some extra attention with the help of local volunteers from the Eudunda Community and coordinated by Eudunda Hospital’s gardener, Mike Prior.
“This is an exciting time for the Eudunda community and for the patients, residents, visitors and staff at the Eudunda Hospital who will be able to access this new lawn space. An automatic pop-up sprinkler system has also been installed on the lawn at the front entrance.” said Keturah Bryson, Eudunda Hospital Acting Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
“Wednesday saw the team rolling out of the instant lawn at the front of the Hospital, and on Thursday the volunteers finished laying the lawn near the road.”
HAC Member Judy Milde later added,
“Already the lawn has benefitted greatly from the recent drought breaking rain, and has started growing well.
“The recent rains have also caused a tremendous blossoming display of the roses in the ‘Light on the Hill Garden’, a brilliant mass of colour, and are a therapeutic breath of fresh air for staff, residents and visitors at Eudunda Hospital.
Judy pointed out that,
“The Eudunda Hospital will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022.” a great milestone.
