Eudunda Bowling Club – Friday Social Bowls 14th June 2024
Last Friday’s dedicated bowlers played through rain, (no hail) and shine! The visitors from Cadell and Kapunda almost outnumbered the locals. The bowlers commented ‘Cold, wet and winning!’ and ‘Should have brought the boat instead of the bowls!’ The bowlers played eleven ends until a downpour of rain created a sheet of water across the green. Luckily this soon drained away.
The only resting toucher for the afternoon was won by Doreen Twartz. The winners of the day were Marlene Holliday, Kate Jenkins and John Greenwood, and runners-up Pam Dutschke, Doreen Twartz and Peter Dickenson.
The raffle winners were Preston Eva, Helen Vater, Steve Condon and Marlene Holliday. Leave your cares at home and come along next week for good bowls, fun and a stress buster !
