Country Arts SA Grant Helps Eudunda Community Hub and Shed With Technology

In June last year the Eudunda Community Hub and Shed (ECH&S) received a grant from Country Arts SA to purchase an iPad tablet, printer, WiFi modem and a training session to learn how to use them. They were encouraged to apply for this grant by the Arts and Cultural Development Co-ordinator of the Regional Council of Goyder after she visited the facility and observed the art and craft projects being run there.

These items have enabled the Hub members easy access to the internet for ideas and inspiration for their artwork. It was also an opportunity for the senior members to learn some new technology. The iPad has been great for taking photographs of some of the work for Facebook and as a record of the progress of the artworks, especially the recent Mosaic Masterpiece project in the Town Gardens.

Peter Herriman from Web South provided a comprehensive instruction booklet on how to upload articles and photos to Facebook.
