Goyder Regional Council CEO & Councillors Attend February ECBAT Comittee Meeting

At the Eudunda Community, Business & Tourism Committee (ECBAT) February 2023 meeting. held at the Eudunda RSL Rooms, ECBAT Committee Members welcomed Regional Council of Goyder (RCOG) CEO David Stephenson and Bill Gebhardt the RCOG Mayor & Burra Ward Councillor, along with our Eudunda Ward Councilors Judy Partington and Debbie Hibbert who is also RCOB Deputy Mayor and many local community and organisation members.
CEO David Stephenson briefed everyone on various issues the council face in delivering services to the region and listened to various concerns bought up at the meeting.
One of the issues is how overgrown the streets in Eudunda are with weeds, it was described as a disgrace. David expressed his concern and understanding and told the group that the Council is having staffing issues, which he explained was currently a common issue across all businesses at the moment. There was discussion as to if a local provider could be used and the idea was to be investigated.
