AG TOWN OF THE YEAR AWARDS JUDGES VISIT EUDUNDA – THURSDAY – 28th September 2023
Eudunda News and it’s readers would like to encourage our wide and varied team this Thursday.
All the best to the team representing Eudunda as they welcome the judges, there is a great representation lined up. A massive shout out to our big businesses who have taken the time to help (we know they are so busy at the moment). Thanks too for those at the Regional Council of Goyder for helping us to present us at our best. We are competing with two very worthy towns in Bordertown and Wudinna who should also be proud to be judged at this level.
Thanks to the Government of South Australia through the Department of Primary Industries and Regions and Solstice Media for making this more than a competition between the SA Agricultural Towns but one which has helped bring all the great things that are in our ‘Country Towns’ to the attention of our local residents and the State.
It has also been great to hear what other towns have to offer and how they see things. We live in a positive State with so many positive and supportive things happening now and into the future.
The positive things that happen in the region is something not always recognized or highlighted when living local – although I (Editor) know first hand that the Eudunda Community, Business and Tourism (ECBAT) has been working hard for some 20 years to change that perceived view. Eudunda has a great opportunity at the moment and no matter what the final decision, we can hold our heads high and speak positively about our town and region and the great cooperation that can be seen at this time.
Eudunda Proud! Good Luck to All.
