Eudunda Bowls – Division 3 in Grand Final Sizzler
Last Saturday, all Division’s Grand Finals were played in the morning at Kapunda. Not only was the heat oppressive, so was Tanunda Black’s onslaught against Eudunda’s Division 3.

Pam Dutschke’s team had a slow start against Evan Allanson, however gained some ground later in the match. Doreen Twartz kept pace with John Moore throughout the match until the closing stages, then Eudunda faltered on the last few ends. Ron Hams’ highlight against Judy Thompson was getting a ‘seven’ towards the end which gave Eudunda the lead finishing two shots up. Tanunda mastered the green much better on the day with some very good bowling.

Following the game back at Eudunda Bowling Club, all enjoyed a lunch provided by Des and Lorna Schiller, and reminisced on what could have been. Mally Schutz congratulated Division 3 on getting to the Grand Final, and encouraged all members to come to the Presentation Night on Friday 21st March at 6pm for 6.30pm start.
The Pennant Season has come to an end, and now we look forward to the Friday Social Bowls which begins on Friday 28th March at 12.30pm for 1pm start. See you there!
