Footsteps & Pedals Newsletter - March 2022
Footsteps & Pedals Newsletter – March 2022

The South Australian Recreation Trails Inc (SARTI) provide a quarterly newsletter about the Lavender Federation Trail, Lavender Cycling Trail and the many loop and spur trails that they have developed or helped to develop across the state. This edition is the first to be renamed from “Footsteps” to “Footsteps & Pedals” in recognition that SARTI have two trails now, one for walking and another for cycling.

Little did SARTI know that the trails would be used for other purposes too – such as Marathon Running! See the Footsteps and Pedals Newsletter which features not only the “Irrational South 200 Miler” which Eudunda first saw last year, and is about to run again from the 6th to the 10th April, but this year, another slightly shorter one has sprung up too – further South.

Called the Murraylands Multisports Inc: – FEDERATION ULTRA TRAIL it will run on the 14th August 2022 from Springton to Murray Bridge on the Lavender Federation Trail.

Naturally we in Southern Goyder love to see positive news of area in the news and this is so in the latest March 2022 issue of Footsteps & Pedals Newsletter.

The “Opening of the Walking Season – Hiking Expo” will be a great day out for the family and has lots of information to gather and walks available of various lengths to go on as well.
