“The Storytime Silos”

The Eudunda Community, Business and Tourism Committee (ECBAT) are excited to report that the final piece of work for the Eudunda Silo Art Project has been installed.

Silo Artist Sam Brooks did an amazing job of painting the Eudunda Silos, and at the time he developed the artwork he told us the story of why all the elements were in his work and how they fitted together. It was a story well worth sharing.

The newly installed Storyboard creates a better, fuller understanding of Sam’s Story for us all.

ECBAT Chairperson, Bob Dabrowski said,
“ECBAT have a very big ‘Thank You’ to Schutz Industries for construction of the steel framework and Regional Council of Goyder for installing the storyboard signage in position. Both of these organisations responded without question and in just over a week it was installed.”

ECBAT hope that the powerful message in Sam’s story will be another reason for Locals & Tourists to come view the Eudunda Silos either for the first time or to visit again, perhaps to stay a day or two and visit other interesting things in the Town and Region.

ECBAT received funding from the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) ‘Tackling Tough Times Grant’ and further funding has been obtained from the Regional Council of Goyder to construct infrastructure such as parking area. paths leading to the artwork, an elevated viewing area which will eventually be lawned and further landscaping.
Additional Support for the project was given by Haymes Paint and Access Hire Australia.
