Successful Rally Despite Rough Weather For The 2022 Copyworld Walky 100 – Rally Cars At Eudunda
Round 2 of the South Australian Rally Championship, the Copyworld Walky 100 deamed a success despite the wet and windy conditions on Saturday 13th August 2022 causing some sections to be closed. CLICK IMAGE BELOW FOR RESULTS
Race Director Jake Alker summed up the event,
“The 2022 Copyworld Walky 100 once again brought fierce competition to Eudunda on Saturday, 13th of August.
“Facing torrential rain, crews battled it out to compete in the South Australian Rally Championships.
“In trying conditions, Jamie Pohlner and Adam Branford took out the podium position in thier Car 1 a P5 Mitsubishi EVO 9 2007 with almost a minute’s lead over 2nd placed Zayne Admiraal & Matthew Heywood in Car 50 a P5 Subaru WRX 2001. Third Outright was Guy Tyler & Steve Fisher in Car 41 a CRC Mitsubishi Magna 1998.

“The Copyworld Walky 100 is the longest running event on the calendar, and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023.
“Thanks must also go to the Eudunda community, businesses, and residents, for their continual support of our fantastic event.”
The Eudunda Show Committee who catered for the event as a fundraiser reported that they were very happy with the outcome and they and the community look forward to the rally returning next year for thier 40th anniversary.
