It’s National Skin Cancer Action Week from the 20th – 26th November.

National Skin Cancer Action Week highlights that we need to do more to promote sun protection.

More than one in two Australians were sunburnt last summer AND two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime.

We need to lift our game and make SunSmart habits part of our everyday routine whenever the UV index is 3 or above.

Reducing your risk is simple: Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide whenever the UV index is 3 or higher.

You can find the UV levels by downloading the SunSmart App, visiting the Bureau of Meteorology website or on your local weather forecast.
