Happy 30th Birthday To Country Fabric’s N Things – Celebrating In April

A huge congratulations to Margaret Doecke who has operated her fabric shop Country Fabric’s N Things in the main street of Eudunda for the last 30 years. What a great achievement!

During the past 30 years Margaret has been a keen supporter of many organisations and events in and around Eudunda. She has over the years often been the main backer of promotion of Eudunda, through her shop, often bringing in Tourist buses loaded with keen visitors, and she has arranged that those visitors get shared with other businesses and organisations, such as the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery so that they have lots of things to do.

Margaret has been in a prime position with the shop to be a ‘collection point’ for entries and items such as the art for the Eudunda SALA (South Australian Living Artists) festival and she has always freely volunteered her time to do so.

Over the years Margaret has shared various craft skills with the community, especially with quilting where many a day has been spent with like minded people enjoying the skills and company.
