Eudunda Social Bowls Report – 21st July 2023
Last Friday 21st July, 28 players enjoyed the winter sunshine. Clubs represented were Cadell, Kapunda, Angaston, Lyndoch, Lobethal, Tanunda and of course Eudunda.
The flag flew at half mast in memory of Tony Scoot, well-respected Eudunda bowler and friend who died on 15th July. Members were informed of the wake to celebrate his life, to be held this Wednesday (today) at Kapunda Bowling Club from 2pm to 4pm.
The Resting Touchers were won by Don Pumpa (Tanunda) and Katrina Turner (Eudunda).
The winners of the day were Ted Schiller, Bill Mader and Jim Mullan (Tanunda), and runners-up were Wayne Collings (Kapunda), Tony Drummond (Lobethal) and Sue Drummond (Lyndoch).
A noisy raffle ensued with winners John Greenwood (wine, donated by Bob Cavanagh), Helen Vater (cheese), Lorraine Jaunay (chook), David Jaunay (chocolate), Jim Mullan (chocolate) and Coral Schutz (bottle of sauce donated by Helen Vater).
