There was movement at the club cos the word had got around that our entry in a comp to find a clubs worst kitchen had won. Stoddart Industries Adelaide had put up a $3000 prize towards the supply of commercial kitchen equipment to rectify a perceived problem. President Judy and Secretary Ruth compiled an entry to replace our ground level dishwasher with a pass through dish washing station. Chris Baggaley from Stoddarts recently attended our club to make the presentation and we look forward to seeing the finished installation. The replacement will correct some OH&S problems and a commercial kitchen compliance issue.

We are holding a preseason social afternoon on Wednesday 22nd September and hope to see all members there. Any intending new bowlers are also invited and club bowls are available for their use. A short game will be followed by a BBQ tea.

Our latest update on our major project to install synthetic greens. I’ve tried polishing the crystal ball but the Covid mist persists. As soon as KCL can get their entourage out of Newcastle they will head for Eudunda. Best guess at this stage is November. A start has been made on the project and some works that needed to happen before KCL could attend have been completed.
