Eudunda Bowls News Successful AGM For 2023
Mally Schutz new President of Eudunda Bowling Club
On Monday 1st May at Eudunda Bowling Club’s AGM, Mally Schutz was elected the new President. Judy Milde had completed her two-year term during which time the Bowling Club underwent a major change in going from the old grass greens to a new synthetic surface and newly established surrounds, making it a very attractive facility.
The elections at the AGM also determined the following nominations -Senior Vice-President Andrew Pfitzner; Junior Vice-President Rhonda Horne; Secretary Ruth Scoot; Treasurer Bill Mader; Coach Chris Jones; Bar Manager Mike Rees; Chair of Selectors Murray Sauer; Social Committee – Liz Mosey, Pam Kleinig and Liz Kleinig; Night Bowls Committee- Jeff Willoughby, Rhonda Horne and Ted Schiller; Publicity Officer Judy Milde; Tournament Committee Ron Milde, Pam Dutschke, Joy Hams and Kym Schutz; Patron Bob Leditschke and Patroness Betty Marshall; and Barossa/Light Bowling Association Representative on Executive – Bill Mader.
Due to increased costs of affiliation to Bowls SA, club member subscriptions were increased to $80 plus the $5 per game.
The Eudunda Bowling Club is running the Friday Social Bowls during the off-season which is a great opportunity to continuing improving the bowling skills while having fun, exercise and social connection. (see other news items in this newsletter for more on this new opportunities).
