Another windy and cold Thursday greeted the Tanunda ladies when they came to Eudunda. In difficult conditions Eudunda finished the morning successfully with a 69-51 win. Ruth Scoot and her team had an early lead against Judy Thompson and even though Tanunda pegged Eudunda back, Ruth still finished 22-14. Joy Hams found some stiff opposition in Sue Yates and although not scoring early, managed to recover well 15-23. Doreen Twartz’ lead Coral Schutz was not troubled with the windy conditions and bowled superbly, consequently Doreen’s team won 32-14. Following the game, the Eudunda ladies had a meeting to plan catering for Hazel Jenke’s funeral lunch on this Wednesday.

The windy weather did not affect the beautiful roses at the bowling club, so well cared for by gardener Pam Dutschke. Many favourable comments were expressed about the display of beautiful blooms.
