Eudunda Bowling Club – Friday Social Bowls 24th May 2024
Twenty- four bowlers played in idyllic weather last Friday, including players from Saddle worth, Kapunda, and Cadell. The games were contested in fun including the friendly rivalry of the Irish and Dutch skipper match. The card draw winners were Joy Fiegert ( Leader), Katrina Turner (Second) and Mally Schutz ( Skipper).
The winners of the day were Pam Dutschke, Doreen Twartz and Betty Pfitzner (by quite a few shots), and runners-up John Greenwood, Joy Hams and Hermann Kloss.
The raffle prize winners were Bill Mader, Joy Hams, Hermann Kloss, John Stam, Murray Sauer, Joy Pfitzner and Katrina Turner.
On Sunday, the100th birthday party for Gordon Schutz was celebrated by family and friends at the Eudunda Bowling Club where more than 120 people attended a memorable afternoon for Gordon and all his family. The happy atmosphere was a reunion for many who travelled from afar to be present for Gordon’s special milestone.
