Eudunda Bowling Club – Friday Social Bowls 23rd August 2024
Beautiful spring weather greeted the bowlers last Friday. Twenty bowlers enjoyed the banter and bowling, including players from Cadell, Tanunda, Saddleworth and Eudunda.

Preston Eva won the resting toucher. Card draw winners were Ted Schiller (Skipper), Steve Congdon (Third) and Joan Stam (Leader).
The winners of the day were Des Schiller, Neil Jaensch, Lumpy (Ian Griffiths) and Hermann Kloss who were eleven up on the card, and runners-up Preston Eva, Ron Hams and Peter Dickenson who were three up.
Raffle winners were Neil Jaensch, Helen Vater, Ted Schiller, Hermann Kloss, Steve Congdon, Mally Schutz and Lumpy.
Eudunda Bowling Club has several bowling events on its calendar within the next month. We hosted the Mitev Family Day last Sunday, which was a charity day to support Parkinson’s SA (separate report); the annual Dick Prior Memorial Singles on 15th September in which Eudunda Bowling Club members compete for the Memorial shield, and a practise match against Tanunda on Sunday 22nd September at Eudunda.
