Eudunda Area School News – Goodbye To David Cluse, Welcome Anna Roebuck As Acting Principal 2023

On January 9th David Cluse wrote to the Eudunda Area School (EAS) community through a letter on the EAS Facebook page. David wrote how he has been privileged to have been the school’s Principal for the last 9 years working alongside many great staff, students and parents and proud of the opportunities the school presents to its students.

David explained that he had acepted a position of Princial at Wanguri Primary School in Darwin and how the position only became available late in the year, and that he sees it as a fantastic opportunity for himself and his family.

David went on to thank everyone, staff, students and parents of the Governing Council and how he will miss all the students.

When one door closes, another opens, so as David leaves on his new journey, there comes an opportunity.

On the Facebook page we find a letter from Anna Roebuck announcing that she is priviledged to take up the appointment of Acting Principal at the Eudunda Area School for 2023.

Anna thanked David for his dedication and positive impact at the EAS and wished him all the best in his new adventure in the NT.

Anna has great experience as an educator over the past 22 years with the last 16 years working as a teacher and in leadership at the EAS, and is passionate about the community and providing the schools students with many opportunities to have lifelong skills, preparing for time after they leave school.

An important aspect of Anna’s work is to continue building a strong relationship with students, teachers and families.

We wish Anna all the best in her new role and look forward to many stories of success for all at the EAS.
