Easter Sunday Dawn Service At Inspiration Point Draws Large Attendance To Celebrate Holy Day In Beautiful Setting
Approx 70 people gathered at Inspiration Point for a dawn Easter service, hosted by the Eudunda-Robertstown Lutheran Parish.
Newly installed Pastor, Jacob Fabich led the Holy Communion service.
Hymns and songs that were sung included: “Jesus Christ is risen today”, “My Redeemer lives”, “He is risen, He is risen” and “I know that my Redeemer lives.”
The sermon was based on John 20:1-18 “Why are you weeping” – there are many reasons that we weep, but, just like Jesus came to the weeping Mary, Jesus comes to us in our weeping and sadness.
The service was followed by an Easter Breakfast at Point Pass Lutheran Hall – hot cross buns, jumbos, juice, tea and coffee.
There was also children’s activities and fresh cut flowers for people.
