Eudunda Bowls – Red Cross Bowls Night Success
Last Tuesday night after a few spots of rain, twenty- four bowlers and a few spectators came to Eudunda Bowling Club for the Red Cross bowls night. They were welcomed by President Mally Schutz, and President of Eudunda Branch of Red Cross Anthea Ross, who thanked everyone for coming to support the work of Red Cross.
The bowlers enjoyed a warm, sultry evening of bowls followed by a beautiful supper provided by the Red Cross ladies. An entertaining raffle was drawn by Kathy Zerner, then Pam Dutschke announced the touchers and winners. An incredible 96 touchers were recorded for the night with some of the inspiring bowlers being GG Schutz, Doreen Twartz, Mally Schutz, Ted Schiller, Judy Milde, Hermann Kloss and Rob Cavanagh.
The winners of the night were Peter Hoffman, Greg Prior and Ron Milde, and runners-up GG Schutz, Betty Marshall and Felix Schiller.
