Mount Mary Op Shop Plans To Recover From Devestating Hall Fire

Local Mount Mary resident Karen Dreckow is continuing her efforts to recover from the devestating fire that destroyed the Mount Mary Hall where the Op Shop had been set up. The cause was apparently by welding some time earlier.

Karen, family and volunteers had spent many thousands of hours of voluteer work setting up the Op Shop, and it had been enjoying great trading prior to the fire.

Althouh Karen has found the time difficult she is not giving up and plans to keep going to raise the funds to rebuild this community resource by doing on line sales and people can pick up the items from her home.
