Eudunda Hosts Open Fours
Last Tuesday Eudunda hosted the annual Open Fours in perfect weather. Eighteen teams were in attendance from as far north as Peterborough, and as far south as Mount Pleasant, and including a metropolitan team from Brighton. The greens and surrounds looked a picture due to greenkeeper Mally Schutz and gardener Pam Dutschke who keeps the roses and shrubs in pristine condition.
The tournament’s sponsors were thanked for their contribution and making the day possible and a success. The lunch catering received many favourable comments, and thanks to the barbeque chef Pat Milham and his helper Murray Sauer. The raffle was popular with many prizes donated by local businesses and individuals.
The winner of the first round was Riverton, second round winner Saddleworth, and third round winner Eudunda.
The overall winners of the day were Owen’s Donna McArdle, Heather Delvendiep, Ming Sumadi and Harry Frencken, with runners-up Nuriootpa’s Brenton Brown, Nigel Roocke, Gary Chapman and Geoff Langley.
