What a beautiful morning of the 4th May 2024 it was to go for a stroll and browse at your leisure the various stalls at the Eudunda Community Hub & Shed’s Eudunda Market.

One of the first people to come and say hello was Johnny O’Brien whom with his partner has recently moved into the historic Wiesner Building (seen on the right). Johnny was really happy to see the Eudunda Market and its activity, and saw it as a benefit to the town.

There were all sorts of stalls attending, with the furthest travelled being Confectioner Amanda Earle of ‘The Old Style Lolly Shop‘ because she comes all the way from Booborowie to sell her lovely lollies. Other Stalls were from Adelaide, Morgan, Kapunda and a good few local based sellers.

Notably the items for sale were not likely found in our local stores, so a great place to source something unusual or a bit different for yourself, or that birthday present, or looking ahead and getting in early Christmas shopping.

Of course when you have been browsing for a while, it’s a good idea to stop for a bite to eat, with egg and bacon rolls or sausages on bread and drinks on the menu at the Eudunda Community Hub & Shed’s stand.

The market is well situated, on the edge of the Eudunda Gardens, so toilets and tables and seating in a beautiful garden are right there. When you have finished buying stuff, The Light Hotel is across the road and other shops only 100m away. If you have some spare time, then aquaint yourself with the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery and go back in time with stories and info about the district.
