Swimmers are looking forward to another great season of swimming at the Eudunda Swimming Pool, as we the district has already experienced a few days of hot weather.
One thing to note is that the pool will only be open if the forecast temperature in Port Pirie is shown as being over 28 degrees the day before.
This year the pool has new access steps (see photo above), shade sails and safety fencing thanks to a grant funding from the Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program Grant of $25,800 along with the Regional Council of Goyder – Eudunda Ward Funding each contributing 50% toward the upgrades at the Eudunda Swimming Pool, as reported in the Southern Goyder News back on the 20th May 2019
Interestingly in that report Corey Wingard recommended that the community expand the Eudunda Caravan Park and this week we are happy to report that the Eudunda Community, Business and Tourism (ECBAT) has been able to get this process happening, with infrastructure going in this week to put another four caravan sites in, and other enhancements to happen soon.
