Last Sunday’s cool conditions did not ‘dampen’ the warm and friendly atmosphere when Eudunda hosted a Fun Day. Many members of the Mitev family were present to enhance the tournament with their support, and entering two teams for bowling fun. The club acknowledges and thanks the sponsors for their valuable contribution.
Tournament director Ron Milde welcomed a small number of bowlers, who were treated to some challenging novelty games, including bending over and bowling the first bowls of one game through your legs! Many thanks to the helpers Betty Marshall, Marg Nietschke and Liz Mosey as kitchen staff in preparing and serving lunch and afternoon tea. The beautiful chicken noodle and pumpkin soups made by Betty and Marg were very much appreciated on the cool day.
President Ted Schiller drew the raffle which provided many nice prizes.
Winners of each round were the teams of Ted Schiller, Tony Scoot and Judy Earl; and the runners-up for the day was Mally Schutz’s team of Daniel Doering, Carolyn Doering and Judy Milde, and winners Robertstown’s Lumpy’s harem of Wendy Schmidt, Karen Brohan and Lyn Mosey.
