BREAKING NEWS!
Road Safety Program.
Thiele Highway Safety Upgrades, Kapunda to Eudunda to commence from tomorrow 17th April 2024 until early 2025, weather permitting.
7am-5pm, Monday to Saturday. Some Sunday work may be required.
On the Thiele Highway between Kapunda and Eudunda.
We are upgrading the Thiele Highway from Kapunda to Eudunda, to improve long term safety and efficiency for all road users. These works form part of the $168 million Road Safety Program 2023-2025, jointly funded by the Australian (50%) and South Australian (50%) governments.
What’s happening:
We are undertaking road safety upgrades on the Thiele Highway including shoulder sealing work and asphalt repairs as required. The upgrades are designed to improve safety, freight efficiency, and support regional economic growth.
How this affects you:
To do this work safely we’ll have speed and lane restrictions in place in work areas. Please plan your trips, be cautious around workers, and follow the speed limits and signs. Outside of work hours speed and lane restrictions will remain in place subject to onsite conditions.
You will still be able to access homes and properties. If we need to limit or impact access, we’ll contact property owners ahead of time. If you have any questions regarding access, we encourage you to contact us to discuss. During the works, there might be some noisy disruptions from time to time, but we’ll do our best to keep the noise to a minimum.
